Cllr Jon Hubbard

Wiltshire Councillor for Melksham South

Serving the community across Melksham

Local residents are celebrating the good news that a new Puffin Crossing is to be installed on Semington Road in Melksham.

Installation of the new crossing will commence on 29th June and take approximately 5 weeks. We have been assures that the installation should not affect the Melksham Carnival procession in any way.

This is good news for both local residents and those whose children attend the Aloric School, as a proper crossing will significantly help with safely crossing the road. Additionally, this should help slow down some of the speeding traffic that we have seen along Semington Road.
