Cllr Jon Hubbard

Wiltshire Councillor for Melksham South

Serving the community across Melksham

The ‘Wiltshire Core Strategy’ has been released, which sets out the Council’s building plans for the next decade, and Wiltshire Council are now inviting the public to comment on the proposals.

Duncan Hames MP said “This document sets out when and where new building will happen in Wiltshire for the foreseeable future, so it’s vital the Council gets its plans right. I’m worried that some areas are being asked to fit in too many houses, particularly on green-field sites.

Both I and the Lib Dems on Wiltshire Council would like to hear your opinions, you can use the form below or contact us through our website at www.workingforwiltshire.org.uk.”

Wiltshire Council is also running a consultation process on the new core strategy, you can access the consultation process through the special link on our website.

The Council’s consultation closed on the 5th August.
